The Healthy Start and Healthy Families Programs serve pregnant women, infants and children under 5 years.
Services
focus on improving birth outcomes and improving
parent-child interaction. Services are educational and supportive,
and include outreach, parenting education, childbirth education, nutritional
information, smoking cessation, supportive counseling,
car seat education and early brain development.
Focus is placed on staying healthy while pregnant and understanding developmental milestones of infants.
